Provides small businesses with all the benefits of Ethernet, affordably
No, we've structured our pricing so that no capital outlay is required on three or five year contract terms; ethernet is suitable for any size of organisation looking for fast and reliable connectivity.
Installation times vary based on technology type. FTTC Ethernet (Fibre to the Cabinet) can be delivered over an existing phone line in as little as 20 working days. EFM (Ethernet First Mile) can be delivered over multiple resilient copper pairs in 30 working days and our high speed, scalable Fibre Ethernet in 60 working days.
All quotations assume existing fibre is present and available for use as per the industry standard. A site survey will still have to be carried out to ascertain whether the correct fibre is present and available for use. This can only be determined following the submission of an order.
F One Ethernet is inherently secure because it operates as a point-to-point service over a dedicated network infrastructure. However, if a connection is provided to the internet, additional security services such as firewalls will need to be implemented. Providing said security is the responsibility of the reseller. Our free CallGuard management services available through Horizon and F One SIP Trunks protect you and your customers from fraudulent activity from endpoints that have fallen victim to hacking or excessive unauthorised call spends.
Here are just some of the current business issues we encounter with our customers where we can really help.
When it comes to operating time-sensitive applications such as voice or video over your connectivity, reliability and high levels of availability are critical factors when choosing a suitable service. Our Converged Ethernet services carry both voice and data where voice traffic is marked with end to end quality of service (QoS) ensuring that your voice service runs smoothly and without interruption.
For large voice deployments, using multiple ISDN30 circuits is no longer the ideal solution. SIP trunking offers significant cost savings, flexibility and resilience over and above ISDN30, but it needs the right underlying connectivity. F One Converged Ethernet, when combined with SIP trunking or hosted IP telephony gives an unrivalled end-to-end service that larger businesses can rely on.
Organisations of all sizes are already in the cloud (IP telephony, hosted applications like SharePoint or Salesforce and even remotely backing up individual PCs). But as this trend increases, so does the need for high-performance, reliable and fast connections. Our family of ethernet services provides businesses with this essential foundation.
Cloud services and network virtualisation continue to aid ethernet growth with the expanding data centre market expected to be an ethernet traffic driver for years to come. F One Converged Ethernet provides you with the reliable underlying technology as the enabler for you to add your own service wrap, straight out of your data centre.
Whether an office has multiple ISDN2 channels with SDSL, or ISDN30 and a leased line, substantial cost savings can be made by consolidating internet and voice into one high-performance and highly-available connection, which is managed and monitored 24/7 by a single, fully-accountable supplier.
